there is hope for us

so i read about a canadian couple who won over 10 million dollars on the lottery and gave 98% of it away.


after spending a small amount on their family they gave it all away to well deserved services and charities.

mr large said "you can't buy happiness".


that is a truly incredible act. it's made me just a little less cynical of humanity than most other days. 


i guess it's just nice to know that people like that exist, and that it's possible to be that selfless.
